Earth Hour (Indonesian: Earth Hour) is a global activity
organized by the WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature, also known
as the World Wildlife Fund) and held on last Saturday in March
each year that asks the homes and offices to extinguish
lights and unnecessary electrical appliances for one hour to raise awareness of the need for action on climate change.
Earth Hour was initiated by WWF and The Sydney Morning Herald in 2007
when 2.2 million Sydney residents participated by putting all
unnecessary lights. After Sydney, many other cities around the world participated in 2008.
In order to support Earth Hour, Swiss-Belinn Bun participate to support these efforts by saving energyand turn off unnecessary lights in some areas of the hotel especially the lobby area.During an hour of outage, and as illumination instead Swiss-belinn Pagkalan Bun light 30 candles and 20 torch that put in place and prepared throughout the lobby area and garden area.
Swiss-belinn Pangkalan Bun invite everyone to come together with energy saving activities through the moment is to help create the stability of the planet and is expected also the concern of everyone in the town to get together to turned off in areas that do not need at home and the office area at 20:30 pm for one hour.
